It was a quiet and calm day on Wuling, children were running around, adult were going to work, yet all were of how close the danger of the blight really was to the city, or it would be if it wasn’t thanks to the coming of their new savior.
As a blinding flash appeared on a dark alley of the city, from it a brown cat with black stripes and a slightly twisted neck emerged, Moronguito had arrived at Talos-2.
Ever since his sudden appearance on terra he had made his work to save world and destroy evil.
On his quest he destroyed destruction itself with only his glanze as a train crew watched amazed. Deflected a meteorite with his paws as if it were a play ball so a green flying snake could sleep. He devoured the fear of the dark itself in form of titans and bowed in respect to a turtle that didn’t doubt in help him, such turtle deserve it.
Now he looked around to the new world he arrived, it was somewhere he had never had been, yet felt familiar. Maybe he has been on somewhere else on this universe before, even if another timeline.
Those thought were quickly those aside as he started to walk around toward the exteriors of the city, any direction would work as the sense of dangers surround it. But not long before he could get there a woman with feathers on her white hair intercept him.
“you are pretty cute, are you lost little one”, the woman said as she pet him. He wasn’t even if he didn’t knew to where those portals send him. But as Moronguito started to wonder about the inner working of his travel metods the bird woman grab him and hold him right in front of her.
Oh no.
The woman smiled as Moronguito started to feel dizzy, his only weakness , upsies.
Thankfully the woman realized that and put him back on the ground, patting him again,” looks that you have problems with your neck little one, I think I’ll get you to a vet”, she stated meanwhile petting Moronguito on his back.
That certainly feel very good, it was a while someone did that.
But as the bird woman pet him someone else come in a hurry,”Arcane, we need your help with the blight outside the city. It’s an emergency”
The bird woman, Arcane, nodded and waved goodbye to Moronguito, not realizing that he follow her. She would guide him to where the danger threating this world was.
And so she did , Moronguito could see waves of… something , he wasn’t sure what it was, but one thing was certain, it carried the smell of death. He without doubt stepped toward to it, there Arcane realized that he follow her,”take the little one away from here”
But as she approach him Moronguito glared toward the ocean of death, in just a second it disappeared, along side everything born from it.
Everyone there looked in shock and relieve, not knowing what happend, except Arcane, who looked at Moronguito both amazed and in fear of what she had infront of her, as she was the only one who knew what happened.
then someone exclamed,”we are getting reports that all aether and blights has disappeared”.
“all around Wuling?”, Arcane asked, not getting her sight of Moronguito.
“no, all around Talos-2, it’s like it was erased from existance”.
Moronguito just nodded toward Arcane, with just that gesture Arcane knew that despise the upsies he was thankful to her for the patting, calming her, yet staying bewildered.
As everyone celebrated this victory for humanity Moronguito disappeared, other worlds needed his help.
Silence filled the room of doctor C , he already had his dinner and finished preparing himself , washing his face in an attempt to stay awake, he then could see on the refletion of the mirror a pair of eyebags on his face, dark and profound, they contrasted with his pale skin and grey eyes, when was the last time he has sleep?.
Doctor C shrugged off those thoughts as he passed a towel over his face.

Someone was calling outside his door, doctor C opened see operator Texas , his assistant for this week,”good night operator Texas, ready for the night turn?”,doctor C commented formally.
Texas stared at him for a moment, inspecting his face,before talking,”can I come inside for a moment?”.
“sure”, doctor C quickly replied before letting his assistant come inside his room,”want some water or… .Actually I think I don’t have anything else. I haven’t brought anything in a while”
“I’m fine thanks”, Texas replied quietly as she entered,”as for your previous question. doctor Kalt’sit has task me with delivering a message, you are on obligatory vacations since this moment”.
Doctor C was left dumbfounded for a moment, only to then to start to laugh,”oh that’s a good one Texas . if you don’t want to work tonight it’s fine , I’ll cover you”, doctor C retorted inbetween laughs,”didn’t knew that you had that inside you”.
Texas then nodded her head in negation, confusing doctor C,”no. it wasn’t a joke. Both doctor Kalt’sit and Amiya decided that you had worked too much”
Doctor C’s confusion then converted into annoyment,”what?!, they can’t do that!”, he exclamed.
“yes they can”, Texas deadpanned,” they are your personal Doctor and the leader of Rhodes Island. They have the authority to do so”
Doctor C then grunted as he crossed his arms,”well they can, but no without reason, I took my obligatory vacations of the year already”
“and also covered your working hours of the year already”, Texas stated ,”how many consecutive all-nighters have you done in a row by now?”
“…this would be the 4^(th) “, doctor C said in shame.
3 nights were he stayed on his office, working non stop between towers of papers and document, from qualifying an operator’s performance on an operation to resumes over said operation, hours after hours of work, yet they were more than worth it.
“I’m perfectly fine”, insisted Doctor C in annoyance as he proceeded to walk toward his door, only for Texas to put herself in the way,”let me go to my office Texas”
Texas shook her head in negation.
In response Doctor C tries to pass around her , only to get his arm grabbed, not matter how much he tried to he couldn’t release from her grasp.
“…Cellina”, said doctor C annoyed yet serious as he looked Texas straight into her eyes.
“C”, replied Texas in her usual deadpan tone as she returned the glare before releasing her grash from doctor C’s arm,”PTRS put this room into seclusion mode for the next 12 hours”

then the sounds of locks filled the room,“WHAT?!”, doctor C exclamed,”PTRS revert that”

Doctor C could just stare dumbfounded at Texas before such situation,”we all knew that you wouldn’t accept to stop to work, so they revoke your access privilege to PTRS on your room for this night and gave them to me”.
Doctor C just looked down begrudgedly on defeat before going to lay on his bed , through it was hard to fall sleep, a feeling of anxious was felt on his heath as rolled over his bed, then he looked at the side , where Texas was sitted on a chair looking directly at him.
“it was necessary for you to stare at me meanwhile I try to sleep, it makes it harder to do so texas”, doctor C stated.
“we knew that you would found a way out if unchecked. also we are not working so there is no need to call me by my operator name, C”,Texas replied with a little smile forming on her face.
“heh ,alright celli”, C commented with a little smug smile forming on his face,”wait, this wouldn’t count as a work for you?”
Texas shaked her head in response ,”originally doctor Kaltsit was going to come. But I wanted to make sure you are alright”,Texas then proceeded to sit at C’s side on the bed,”I never saw somebody so dedicated to work, even workaholics can’t compare with you”
Texas then started put her hand over C’s head , patting it slowly as her fingers moved his brown hair, C in response started to do the same with Texas’s tail, sadly her fluffy ears were out of reach at the moment, but Texas still enjoyed it.
“its just… I just want to take any burden that I can out of Amiya’s shoulder, out of Kalt’sit’s, make sure that I can help Rhodes Island not matter what after…”, C then stopped talking as a melancholic expression appeared on his face,”it never is going to be enough”.
“everyone in Rhodes already are more than grateful for the work you are doing”, responded Texas before she laid down at C’s side.
“do you know what happened when they recovered me from chernobog?. Of who died there to bring me here?”,Texas nodded silently,”Ace, Scout , many people that I can’t remember , but gave their lives in hope that someone that didn’t even had a name could help Rhodes island, I just can’t let those sacrifices being for nothing”
“and you certainly proven that. But if you keep doing it that way then their deaths would have been for nothing”, Texas replied seriously, shocking C.
Still, she wasn’t wrong, with how weak his body is, it would question of time when he couldn’t keep going.
“I’m sorry for making you worry”, said C as he looked down , ashamed.
Texas then sighed in response,”not just me. Amiya . Kalt’sit. Every person that had went to your office these last days expressed their worries for health”
“I’ll have to apologize for making them worry then, at least the first two”, C commented as he let a little smile, with how much work he has been doing he forgot that the people of Rhodes Island cares for him as much as he cares for them.
“first rest then. They would want that. I do”, Texas replied before giving C a kiss on the check.
After that C could see how Texas blushed a little,”you look adorable like that you know”, C said as he started to pet Texas’s fluffy ear, they were no on reach, and she certainly enjoy it,”by the way, would you want to sleep here with me or on the chair?”
Texas let a little smile before giving C a kiss, he in response kissed her back before hugging her.
“goodnight C”, Texas said as she hugged back C.
“sweet dreams celli”, and so in each other embrace the couple fell deeply on their dreams.
