I get why 001/henry/vecna wanted to kill the people that kept him prisoner, but why did he kill the other kids that were also held as prisoners?

Has anyone else experienced this? I was asleep and had a dream of me sleeping but was having a dream so I was basically having two dreams at once. It has happened multiple times though and it kind of freaks me out

There are so many good lines, but the one that always gets me is “we’re not trapped out here with you, you’re trapped out here with us”
