School reports…

Hi all,

I have an appointment tomorrow (Monday) to ask my GP for a referral for an ADHD assessment. I dug out my old school reports so I could provide them to the psychiatrist, but I have also gone through and copy and pasted the common comments from teachers. I actually can’t remember my childhood/adolescence, but I thought I did really well at school, I thought I genuinely was a star pupil (my siblings were going through a lot so I tried to be ‘good’). I suppose I’m wondering if these are ‘normal’ comments or if it hints to having ADHD as a kid. As an adult I really struggle with deadlines, impulsivity, executive dysfunction, organisation etc.

I also feel a bit ‘imposter syndrome’ like maybe I’m just a really crappy adult? Who is just really bad at life?

Secondhand Hyundai Tucson vs Nissan X-trail

Please let me know which you would buy!

- Hyundai Tucson 2018, 159xxxks, $17,990
- Nissan x-trail 2019, 99xxxks, $20,990

There’s next to nothing around 20k secondhand in my town and I can’t look outside my town. I’ve just seen these today, drove the Nissan (drove nice but I don’t really know what I’m looking for)

I looked the Tucson’s vin up on the recall website and it isn’t showing any recalls with this.

Spending money & recs?

Hey all! I’m going to Phuket in July 2027 with my family for a family member’s 60th birthday. I’ve never been overseas, and I’m wondering if anyone could give any realistic tips on a budget/spending money amount to bring over?

I will be paying for myself (single adult) & my two children (3&9). I don’t drink alcohol, so I’m assuming that will (slightly) reduce costs, but I’m trying to figure out how much I should be saving for our spending money. We are going for 7 days I believe.

I’m also seeking some child-friendly activities/things to do!

I’d love any suggestions, recommendations or advice on how to best navigate the holiday with two kids! Even hacks or tips you did when you travelled with kids, that made things so much more easier.

The lullaby club….

I’ve noticed the last few launches haven’t sold out as quickly as the previous launches- curious to hear everyone’s thoughts as to why?

I have a decent collection of their essentials tees, pants/shorts & a few dresses, but I haven’t purchased recently for a few reasons: the cost/prices have gone up, the styles aren’t suited to my body shape (particularly the new triangle singlet wrap top contraption in the last release) and the fabric composition has changed which has made me want to stick to the original pieces I have.

Even the sale on discontinued styles/patterns haven’t sold out like I thought they would- they initially extended the extra discount sale, and recently I received an email saying they’ve dropped the price again.

Curious to hear thoughts!

What shoes would you wear with this dress?

As the title says! I don’t wear high heels (or any shoes that have a heel) so I’m a bit stumped. As budget friendly as possible as it’s for a friends 30th at a pub/bistro type place. I don’t go out ever (this will be the first time in a long time) so I don’t want to spend a lot of money for a pair of shoes I likely wouldn’t wear. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for any recs that I might own something similar! Thank you in advance. The weather will be cold as it’s towards the end of July in Victoria. Thank you!!

Barrel leg pants for plus size?

Hey everyone! I’m about a size 16. I carry my weight in my midsection so I have a larger tummy. I am in love with the look of barrel pants- I normally wear elastic-waist flowy, wide-legged pants but I’d love a more structured look. I’ve had a look at a few websites, and I’m just wanting some recommendations? I’d like some pants that have an elastic back (or even all the way around), but that have the different material and more structured look of the barrel pants. Any ideas? Luna & Rose jewellery?

Has anyone purchased from Luna & rose? It’s my 30th birthday in July so I’m wanting to purchase a nice necklace, however I’m unsure of the quality. I’ve got my eye on this one (limited last restock, which I hate when they do because it leads to panic buying IMO 🤣 so I’m trying to be thoughtful about the purchase as it’s very expensive (to me))

The about me section says:
