Is this a sign for me to play Hammer?
I just got this charm: Tenderizer +5 / Hearing +6 / 3 slots.
I wasn’t even planning to play Hammer, but getting a charm like this feels like the game is trying to tell me something.
I'm thinking of using it with:
Silver Solhelm Z
Rathalos Mail X
Esurient Vambraces XR
Gore Faulds XR
Esurient Greaves XR
Ba'alat Gebal
With this setup, I'm aiming for: Challenger +2, Sharpness +1, Weakness Exploit, Critical Boost, HG Earplugs
Did I cook, or is it meh?
( P.S. I already farmed the JhoCeana set, which is why I'm using the Esurient pieces. I figured I might as well put all that farming to use. )
And kids, this is what happens when you forget to bring Dung Bombs
Soloing MHGU has been way more fun than I expected
So far I've been having an absolute blast playing solo (no pun intended). Honestly, I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. Every hunt feels rewarding because every success is entirely on you.
That said, G-Rank is a completely different beast. The monsters are so much more aggressive, they chain attacks relentlessly, and they leave you with almost no room to breathe. It's definitely kicked my ass a few times, but that's exactly what makes every victory feel so satisfying.
Coming Back to MHGU After Ignoring Hub: Can I Solo G-Rank?
For context, when I first started playing MHGU, for some reason, I never bothered to do the Hub quests. Now that I'm back, I'm thinking about doing a full solo run through the Hub, including G-Rank and Deviant Monster etc. Do you think this is doable for a casual "noob" player, or have I made a huge mistake?
