RECALL NEEDED - PETITION

I need help!
Toyota C-HR owners from 2018-2022 are facing a pattern of premature transmission failure - and Toyota US refuses to acknowledge it.
The K114 CVT transmission in these models has a faulty bearing that sheds metal into the fluid, destroying the transmission entirely and prematurely. A multitude of owners are having to pay upwards of 9k to replace the transmission. What's crazy about this besides the total and complete waste of money put into consistent maintenance checks and repairs? Toyota Canada already recalled this, offering a 10-year/193km warranty for the exact same issue. A rep. at Toyota claims the transmissions are "different," but these cars are all made in Turkey and Japan.
I started a petition because owners like me have done everything right. Regular maintenance, proper care, and yet I still lost my vehicle after about 20k in purchasing and maintenance. Customers are reporting this across forums and social media, yet Toyota says there are "not enough complaints" to warrant a recall. Before I found that out through another customer in a FB group, they had told ME that they weren’t even aware of the issue to begin with!! There's an active class action lawsuit (Ahdoot & Wolfson, PC) because this is clearly a known defect being ignored.
Has anyone else dealt with this on their C-HR? If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing this petition. Toyota needs to step up and do right by their customers - especially when Toyota Canada has already fixed this problem.
