Recently diagnosed stage 1

Looking for advice I recently got diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis when I had surgery to remove my right tube for an ectopic pregnancy. I previously thought I had it due to painful periods but my fertility clinic kept saying I didn’t have it because I didn’t have heavy periods.
I now only have 1 tube and this diagnosis. Anyone able to conceive naturally with 1 tube and stage 1? I’m leaning towards looking into laparoscopy to have it removed and trying naturally before going to ivf.

Surgery over the methotrexate

I’m going to start with why i preferred surgery and why i wish I got the surgery instead of the shot and I’ll put my story below it because it is lengthy. Hoping this helps someone. Always consult with your doctor but this is my personal experience on why i wish I got surgery first instead of the shots.

- 2 doses of methotrexate failed and I had to get surgery anyway
- during the surgery to remove my right tube I was diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis which my clinic previously said I did not have because I don’t have heavy periods.
- recovery was less painful after the surgery for me compared to the shots.
- if I had gone right to surgery I would not have to wait 3 months to try and convince
- I had a great surgery team and they were very nice and kind
- a damaged tube does not work properly and can also cause a second ectopic pregnancy

My story I was doing a letrozol cycle with a trigger shot with cycle monitoring. I took my trigger shot March 2nd. 2 weeks after trigger shot I tested negative, 3 weeks after I tested negative. On March 29th (about 4 weeks after) I got a very faint positive and got blood work my hcg was at 10, 48 hours later 29, 48 hours later 79, 96 hours later 116. They started doing ultrasounds and blood work every 3 to 4 days. On April 19th my hcg hit 948 they saw our baby on my right tube. They gave my first dose of methotrexate. On day 4 my hcg went up to 994 but on day 7 it went up to 1300. I was denied the second shot and told I had to go back there next day for more blood work. I went back hcg was at 1100 and they gave me my second shot April 27th. My hcg gradually started to go down and hit 45 May 11th and thought I was in the clear. On May 18th my hcg went up to 455! A 1000% increase! I was brought back the next day for more blood work and an ultrasound where they could see baby was still the same size and I now had a 5cm cyst. I was given the choice of surgery or wait and see what happens which could end in surgery or a rupture. I opt for surgery as I was exhausted and stressed from waiting all the time.

Drop than rise

I posted here a couple of weeks ago about my hcg slowing down. Well last week my hcg dropped from over 500 to 45. However one week later today my hcg is back up to 455. This is after 2 doses of methotrexate. Tomorrow I have more blood work and an ultrasound. Has anyone else ever experience such a low drop only for it to rise again.

I found out I was having an ectopic pregnancy April 19th they gave me my first shot of methotrexate my hcg was at 970, on day 4 it was at 994, and day 7 it was at 1300. My doctor refused to give me my second shot and I had to go in the next day for more blood work my hcg dropped to 1100 and they gave me a second dose of methotrexate. On day 4 of my second dose it went down to 743 I was so happy. Now on day 7 my hcg only dropped to 733. My doctor isn’t concerned because there was such a big drop between day 1 and 4 but they previously said there needs to be a drop between day 4 and 7. Anyone else experience this? Is it likely I’m going to rupture or get surgery
