Hit a pothole!
Finally finished mk7 golf delete! We also switched to a CP3 pump from Darkside due to our garage recommending we do so after some limp mode issues. The garage quoted us about 3k for all of that, after my car sat at the garage for 3 months with no update, we finally towed it back to our place and did all of it ourselves. Finally we called the garage to discuss tuning it and they quoted us $250 because it needs a stage 2 tune, and they previously put a stage 1 tune on it. Today, after towing it down to their lot, they called us back and said they are about to start on it, and now quoted us about $600 for the stage 2 tune and DSG tune. Needless to say, I’m kind of upset with the garage after previous bad experiences, and I hoped this experience was gonna be better than previous ones. Any thoughts on the situation would be appreciated! Wish us luck and we are hoping for the golf to run well and for life to stop kicking us in the kidneys for a while at least.
