Hey y’all! I recently took a test on lockdown browser and before I always check my camera to make sure that it works and it worked but all of a sudden my camera wasn’t connected to my laptop which I don’t understand when the camera is inside the laptop, so I decided to do a software update which worked. However mid exam my camera light turned off so I assumed it was the same issue so i decided to use my phone to scan the questions. When I checked later I’m sure my phone wasn’t in the frame but still a bit nervous lol. I assume the camera was off bc the camera light turned off. I was still able to take the exam so maybe my professor has a setting that still allows no camera If a tech issue happens. Also during my room scan i accidentally forgot to show my desk and the last time I didn’t as well (not on purpose) but nothing was said to me about it. I still showed the room but the angle of the laptop makes the scan look a bit messy but it wasn’t intentional. Im sure for those that use a pc can’t get the best view either so that gives me some reassurance with that issue. Am I okay lol? Need some reassurance 😭😭
I got an email from unf financial aid saying that the evolution of jazz is not degree applicable? Has anyone else had this issue? I thought it was an elective you can take to help you boost your gpa and finish the AA degree

Hii! Anyone that has had Dr. Swenson in the past, is the sourdough assignment worth 24 points in total? That’s what all of the points that she listed added to but on canvas the assignment doesn’t show the amount of points. Just wanted to check bc I haven’t heard from her and 24 points would be a great grade boost😭😭

I just took a test on lockdown browser and it says that my quiz grade is muted. I found this thing on Reddit that said if you put a what grade and then remove it, it will show your updated averagedgrade at the top. is this still true? I had an 81 at first I put a 90 as the what if grade and when I checked that it was an 83.1. and then I got rid of it and scrolled up now I have a 82.

Hey! This is so random but is there anyway to convince Swenson to drop at least the lowest mini tests? She hasn’t in the past but I do think it would help students grades. Are we able to bring this up to our advisor by any chance or the professors control their class the way they want too? She drops the online connect labs but they don’t add points to our grades though😞 someone please help
Has anyone tried using another person to look up the answers for you while you take the lockdown browser exam? I’ve heard that someone else looks the answers up and taps your leg 1 for A, 2 for B, etc. is this a good method? Should I have my friend sit on the floor instead of the same level as me since the camera only sees my shoulders and up? Should my friend take a pic of the answers or manually type them?

Anyone who is taking Swenson for micro lab do y’all think we have the mini test tomorrow? Class was cancelled last week so we didn’t go over the UV lab and she didn’t mention anything about the test tomorrow in her announcement. I doubt she will make us take a test only on one lab concept but I need some reassurance bc she hasn’t responded to my email😭😭

Has anyone tried to complete the effects of uv review assignment on connect that’s due June 21? Connect will not load the assignment because they cannot find it. I also tried to look in the connect modules as well in the assignment is nowhere to be found. I reached out to her as well yesterday and I still haven’t heard back is anyone else still having this issue? Does anyone know who had her in the past if she will fix this? We didn’t have class this week so we didn’t do the lab for this assignment.
