Invisalign refinements caused my gums to recede.!!!

So I’m really frustrated because I’ve been on this treatment plan for over 12 months now it was suppose to be 9months. I’m on my second round of refinements and I’m supposed to get my attachments and permanent retainers next week. I didn’t notice but the last couple trays were longer than the ones before and have caused my gums to recede. Now I’m concerned I’ll have to get a gum surgery to reverse it. I feel like my teeth looked way better in the before picture :(

Also thinking about going with the wire retainer vs the hard plastic bc I don’t want my gums to recede anymore. What should I do?

1st picture is now , 2nd is before.

Root Canal & Invisalign??!!

I’m in my second round of refinements and almost done with treatment now (5 more weeks/ trays left)Before I started I had to have one root canal and a cavity removed from my dentist. Initially when they did the X-rays they showed me that one of my upper molars has a large filling and is close to the nerve and would most likely need a root canal if it ever caused any pain or sensitivity. It didn’t back then but now it’s been a year into my treatment and I’m just now starting to feel some sensitivity in my tooth. It’s not terrible but I’m starting to worry a little more due to my past experience with my other root canal since it was a retreament and infected. (So much pain omg) they had to numb me twice. But this one It’s more so when I wake up after I’ve had my aligners in all night. Maybe due to clenching at night or movement?

My question is , if I have to get a root canal done will this affect my treatment plan? Should I get the root canal done before they scan for the retainers or should I wait to finish the treatment retainers and all? I’ve heard that you will have to wait for the crown to be put on until after your treatment is done which is something that gives me anxiety bc I had to wait for the crown for my other root canal for almost 3 weeks and I don’t want to do that again due to potential for my bacteria to develop.

I’m almost done with my treatment. I’ve had braces before when I was a teen but lost my retainer so my bottom teeth shifted quite a bit so I got Invisalign once I finally got dental insurance. We were suppose to take my attachments off last week but I complained about having some extra space in between all my top teeth which bothers me bc I’m constantly getting food stuck after every meal and having to floss 3+ times. My front two teeth also bother me bc there’s a little gap now I guess from straightening them out so my ortho suggested IPR but im scared now bc it’s my two front teeth. I like the size of them and don’t want it to be too drastic though I despise the space In between. If we go for it I’m hoping it will bring all the top teeth closer together. What do you guys think?

Last two photos are what they looked like before treatment.
