Masterchef 2027?

I don't recall them doing any promotion for next year.
I think they usually have a "Think you have what it takes....send it your application." during the show.

Gluten free flour to sift or not to sift?

I've noticed a lot of Gluten Free recipes, simply say add the flour, whereas in my non GF baking days it was alway sift the flour.

I know in my old life it was to get air in the mix.

Full driveway service at a garage.

Just had the best surprise. Went to get some petrol at the garage on Gladstone Road, Highgate Hill and they do full driveway service, including checking tyres and oil

Such a treat. I remember when I had a toddler trying to find somewhere like this, it was always a pain to have to get him in and out of the car.

I wonder if there are other places that offer this?

Novel possibly set around WWII - but not a war book.

I think the book had a no of stories linked to a place one of the one I remember is

There is a male character (soldier)who is in love with a woman who has been helping them she either has a child or is pregnant to him. He plans to desert and starts stealing food items from the base. His best friend who is his captain realises what he is doing and tries to stop him, but in the end helps him. The men, woman and child are hiding from people searcihng for them and I think the baby is killed to keep it quite. The captain takes the blame so his friend can get away but is court martialed and shot for being a traitor. The men were either British or US and the woman was Spanish maybe. ....

School spirit ghosts questions

Why don't the ghosts walk through walls and other things ghosts usually do. Also they seem to need to eat etc.

Just discovered this and really enjoying it but have questions.

Cocktail snacks

What good cocktail snacks do you serve up.
We often do halloumi and chorizo, blue cheese and walnuts, mini brushetta, baked camembert, olives and nuts, looking for some different ideas.

Don't have a cocktail recipe to share, but didn't know where else to post.

Any advice on parking at the hospital. I need to take someone for an appointment.
Received a text to say it could take a while to find a space and leave extra time.

Person has low mobility, but I don't want to drop them off then try and find them if the go in to the hospital.

Thanks
