Fosters ready to adopt!

Hey neighbors! Hope you are having a fantastic summer. As my username may suggest, I love cats! And I’ve got two long-term fosters here in bedstuy who have been ready for their forever homes for quite a while now.

Nori and Yoshi are the sweetest 5-ish year old boys, especially Nori who is just a love bug. They’ve been in foster care with me for over a year now. They both get along with another cats and people, are well behaved, and healthy. Yoshi tends to be shy around new folks but Nori was in my lap the day after they arrived last year.

The rescue I’m working with has extremely limited resources and because of that we’ve been mostly on our own - which is totally ok! It happens. It just means we haven’t had much support in getting the word out. I’m not sure if we’ve gotten any applications for them in all this time.

“But catslady,” you may be asking, “if they’ve been in your care so long why not just keep them?” I have, of course, thought that over extensively. But I already have 4 cats of my own, and would have to give up fostering because I’d be out of space!

If you’re looking for a pair of sweeties to supplement your universe, look no further! Happy to answer any questions you have!

Pet friendly house cleaner

Hey neighbors! I need a deep clean on my 3br/1ba apartment. I currently have, as my username may suggest, 6 cats. I work with local rescues to foster cats and kittens so I have cats coming and going throughout the year plus a few residents of my own.

I’m looking for recommendations for a house cleaner who can help with an initial deep clean of the whole apartment and a recurring monthly clean after that. My apartment isn’t in bad shape, but it needs some dedicated TLC. I just don’t have the energy to keep up anymore!

Do you have someone you love and can refer? Let me know! Thank you so much! Cat tax in the comments.
