Will a pyogenic granuloma on nailbed cause permanent damage?
Lost my nail after having a tendon repair surgery with a button pull through technique. It developed a pyogenic granuloma and my surgeon treated it with silver nitrate.
Do you think it's likely this will cause permanent nail damage?
The first couple photos start with the nail coming off, then immediately after it came off.
The third picture is crazy because you can see the new growth that happened overnight at the base, it's not as red as the rest.
The 4th pic is directly after silver nitrate application and the 5th is later that day.
6th is from this afternoon.
Edited to fix typos on pic order.
