Unexpected First Bike
I'm in my 40's feeling the need for freedom. It started with an ebike and quickly escalated to looking at motorcycles... so I went down the youtube rabbit hole, yammie noob and all. I figured in a few years I would maybe get an INT650 or Rebel 500/1100 for my first bike, but I was curious how much these bikes actually cost from dealers vs MSRP... so I started looking around. Big mistake? You decide.
2 weeks later I'm calling a dealership to put down a down payment on a new 2024 Vitpilen 401! I found one with a sticker price of 2600, 3900 OTD. That's a screaming good deal, right? I compared that price everywhere and nothing came close, so when I called the dealership and asked what the hell is wrong with it they just said another dealership closed and they are trying to move bikes out.
Did I make the right choice? Have I been blessed with a good deal? Is this some kind of scam? Am I going to kill myself on this thing?
