Just trying to understand how the tracks are controlled and who decides which train is going where ( I know freight trains get preference ) . I am assuming someone has a job similar to an air traffic controller?
Has anyone noticed a recent increase in roomette costs? I have been price watching for some August dates on the southwest chief and empire builder and cost went up about$100 this week? Did I miss the sweet spot? Cost for up because of fuel? Just trying to figure this pricing out?
