Saw a car hitting another car while doing parallel parking

I saw a driver bump into the back of another car while trying to park in a parallel lot.

I told him that he had hit the car in front, but he said he did not notice it. When I helped inspect the other car, I noticed a crack on its rear licence plate.

However, he insisted that his car could not have

caused the damage because he was moving forward into the lot.

He also defended himself by saying that there was no visible damage on his own car. I do not have video proof that he caused the crack, but I remember hearing a cracking sound while he was positioning his car.

Should I try to find the owner of the other car, or should I let it go since it is not really my business? I am also worried that if the owner checks their dashcam footage, they may see me standing there and assume that I was the one who caused the damage, since I was helping the driver check where he had hit.

Does anyone know the approx distance the traffic camera can capture?

I was driving along Airport Road towards MacPherson Road this morning, near the traffic lights before the KPE, and noticed a camera at the junction. I was travelling at just under 50 km/h, but several cars passed me at noticeably higher speeds after the lights when it turn green

Does anyone know whether the camera at this junction is only for red-light offences, or whether it also detects speeding? Also, roughly how far before and after the junction can it detect or capture vehicles?

Got TP letter for speeding 1–20 km/h, not sure what happens next as a P-plater in 2026

Hi everyone, I recently got a letter from TP for speeding 1–20 km/h over the limit.

I don’t really remember speeding because I’m usually quite careful, especially on that road. I’ve already submitted my driver details, but I’m not sure what happens after this.

For those who’ve been through this before, what usually comes next? And how does it work in 2026 for a P-plater?
