Recently my company made a move to change the name of FOH and BOH to an alternative as they say that Back of House is a term left over from American chattel enslavement. Has anyone ever heard this? I hate using offensive terms if it's something I've been oblivious to years, but I have heard many other terms used for enslaved peoples that lived in the house and those that only worked in the fields and Back of House was never one. Thanks for any input. :-)
