This is Pim and her brother Poe. My rescue momma Freddie ( who I took to the vet and was told was a male, hence the name. So you can imagine my surprise when Freddie started showing before the neuter appt! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ) gave birth to just the two of them a couple weeks ago. Poe is about triple his sister's size, as you can see in the second pic! Both are healthy, doing great and will be going to the furrever home in Chicago when they're old enough. Momma Freddie has her SPAY appointment in the books as well!
Ok fam, like I said, fun question for ya! MIW just released their new single "Love at First Bite" last month ( lyric video below 👇 ) and imo it's a banger 🔥🔥🔥 But do you think Lestat would have liked it? I keep going back and forth on it. On one hand, I could see him being, like the crash out queen he is, irritated or down right pissed that another band is releasing a vampire song right when he's doing the same thing. Like the nerve this band has to write a song about something they're not 🙄😂 ( and for added depth, let's say MIW exists in-universe and obviously is probably filling way more seats at venues than TVL is ) But on the other hand, we know Lestat has some enduring feelings towards humanity and is just ever so slightly vain ( haha ) that he might just be flattered by the imitation. What say you jury? ( said in Santiago's voice 😆 ) Also, any other songs you think Lestat would love or hate similar to this one? Any songs you would love to see him cover? I have a few too many, but one I'd like is "Bad Guy" by Billie Eilish, especially if it was ep 1 tripping balls Lestat 😂😂
I'm stuck in bed with an injury right now, so of course I'm doing another rewatch. One of the smaller things that makes me laugh every single time is in the cold open of episode 4 and how Lestat pronounces "Chipotle" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Not as good as him saying "scuuuuuu pah" but still funny none the less. What are your small things that you loved this season?
This has been my favorite song out of what they've released so far, but I have to say I don't know if I'm ready to see it used in the show ( possibly in episode 3 ) because I know it's going to probably destroy me 💔 Especially from what it seems like in the trailer, where Magnus looks to be watching him perform on stage and that would mean Lestat is hallucinating him since we all know what happened to Magnus after he turned him 😭😭😭
Is there anyone who's having a better time in life right now than Sam Reid? I just keep thinking about how insanely cool this must be for him. He's getting to actually BE Lestat and perform in front of all the fans at the show and getting to see their reactions in real time!!! GAAAAWD!!!! I don't know who I'm more jealous of, the fans at the show who are getting this incredible once in a lifetime experience or Sam, who's getting to do this, which has to be right up there on his actor bucket list. As someone who first read TVL as a freshman or sophomore in high school and being obsessed with The Vampire Chronicles ever since, I can't believe this is actually happening after waiting almost 30 years!!!! I'll be forever grateful to Sam and Jacob and the rest of the cast, as well as Rolin Jones and all the writers and crew for not only bringing these incredible stories to the screen, but also doing it better than I EVER thought possible!
*and on a little side note...... I just wanted to add that this subreddit and everyone in it is truly amazing . I'm in a handful of other ones and not one of them comes even close to having what we have here, so thank you all for that ❤️
