New to me 2021 Prius Prime XLE had spacers put on it by previous owner, so the tires stick out past the body of the car. I was told by dealership this was done to help with stability of the vehicle as it’s such a light car with only 15in tires. Is this true or should they be removed? I feel this would also help my mpg as I’m averaging at about 52mpg with a range of only mid 400s before having to refill.
