Refurbished and custom painted TW13s
Decided my old pair of TW13s was a perfect way to practice this new hobby. Pretty happy with em for being only my second pair ever and being old a dirty to begin with lol! Design was themed around my hometown of Rochester, NY with its beautiful lilac bushes and also somehow beautiful grey winter skies. The airport code (ROC), TW on the tongue, and Flower City logo, plus the main eyelets use the city colors of navy blue and yellow to round out the design. Last pic is before any paint was applied. Any and all tips and advice are appreciated. Cheers!

Myself and my two closest friends are turning 50 this summer. The one friend I will be making some custom Jordans for but the other isn’t really a sneakerhead. What he and I do share is a love of golf and the band RUSH so I figured why not go that route?!?! My questions are two:
First- if you’ve done this before, anyone have any tips, tricks, general advice for the project?
Second- if you have done this where is a good place to find decent quality plain white leather headcovers? Would love to be able to do more in the future for other golf buddies so any leads are appreciated. Found some on Amazon the could be good for this project but always looking for better

As the headline posits, a buddy reached out to me to see if I did ice hockey skates. Told him I’ve never attempted but would research a bit and see what I could find. Figured I’d send up the Bat Signal to all you fine folks to help supplement whatever info I can (or can’t) find. As of right now I’ve found that the uppers are mostly plastic or carbon fiber type synthetics which I would t have the foggiest how to proceed with. Not sure how much if any leather exists on them tbh lol! Any thoughts or leads are appreciated! Cheers!
