Cant seem to find them anywhere except the fruit of the loom or hanes, which aren’t usually good quality. Id like to stay away from polyester. Thanks!

Polo Shirts

I am looking for athletic style polo shirts that fit 4xlt and actually have the extra length. Any suggestions where to look? Old Navy was a huge disappointment and seems like the tall sizes stop at 3xlt at many other stores.

Compression Undershirts Help Posture?

Apologies if this isn't the right subreddit for this, but I had a couple of questions on compression undershirts and thought someone here might be able to provide some answers. I've lost about 200lbs (still have about 100 more to go) and I've been trying to step up my fashion game a little. As a result I've been bombarded with social media ads for compression undershirts, and it's gotten me curious. I've read some comments from folks saying they helped with their posture. I've been actively trying to remind myself to stand more upright, but if these shaper wear type shirts help with that I was thinking they might be a good investment.

What I wanted to know is if they help to correct posture long term, or only when you're wearing them. Is there a brand you would recommend? Also, if any of you have any tips or tricks to share on how you corrected your posture after weight-loss I would love to hear it.

Japanese summer office outfit

After a year and losing almost 60kg, it’s about to be summer again.

It’s not full-on Japanese summer heat yet, but Tokyo has definitely started warming up. I still wanted to dress a bit nicer for the office though, which for me usually means some kind of layering.

I recently picked up this lightweight 5/8 sleeve haori-style outer layer. It’s very thin and breathable, so it works surprisingly well even in warmer weather. I paired it with a navy button-down polo and a colorful tie to add a bit more personality.

What do you think of the outfit? Any suggestions or things you’d change?

Fit details:

  • White cap
  • Navy blue button-down polo shirt
  • Lightweight haori
  • Colorful tie
  • Tapered black denim pants
  • Brown leather belt
  • Brown leather shoes
  • Vest bag

Best cheap T-shirts ever. Sonoma from Kohl’s!!!

If anyone is looking for the best cheapest T-shirt that you can find in a store, it has to be Kohl’s big and tall SONOMA T-shirts. With a coupon you can get them for 7.99 a T-shirt. Unbelievable deal. Granted they’re more of a lightweight T-shirt so sometimes it could show your chest if you have a bigger chest like myself, but for the price they can’t be beat.

I grabbed the 3xb and they fit great. Room around the chest, enough length like a tall T-shirt. And the quality is great. They don’t make me sweat like other T-shirts and they’re great for the spring and summertime. I know sometimes Old Navy has the tall T-shirts for like nine bucks online but you gotta pay for shipping and you can go right to the store and grab these. I probably have like 15 shirts by now because they’re so cheap for the price. I can wear them with khaki shorts playing golf or khaki pants dressing up. They’re great.

What Pant Rise Should I Be Wearing?

Hey Reddit! I’m having some trouble as I revamp my wardrobe, specifically around what rises I should be picking for my pants.

My torso is a bit weird. My belly button, and my natural waist by extension, sit a lot lower on my torso than you might expect. As a result, if I try to wear pants that sit right on that line, they’ll tend to shimmy downward as I go about my day even with a belt on, so they’ll wind up resting where you see my pants resting under my belly in the pics.

I understand the advice that men with a bit of stomach should wear high rise pants to hide that contour, but they just never sit quite right. I do have a pair of very high rise fatigues from Bronson, and even those tend to slip down as I wear them. I'd have to tighten the belt to a point where I can't even sit down comfortably to get them to stay.

This all leads me to the question: Do I just accept that my pants will sit under the belly because of how my stomach/hips are configured, or is there some secret to high rise pants I'm not understanding?

As an aside, just to preempt it: please refrain from all the “exercise more” and “lose weight” comments. Guys, I know. We all know. Nobody who makes a post like this looks in the mirror and says “I wonder if I’d look better if I was skinnier?” I’m already dieting and working with a personal trainer, I promise I get it, but that doesn’t solve the issue of how I should wear pants today unless you know a magical method by which I could lose 40lbs overnight. I apologize if this sounds confrontational, I once posted a fit pick to the normal men's fashion subreddit and go dogged on by gym bros.

looking for 5 inch inseam, stretchy but form fitting & flattering shorts

Hello, I’m a 5’4 220lbs trans guy and my greatest struggle is finding a good pair of shorts. 98% of bigger mens shorts seem to be restrictive dress pants styles or slippery basketball shorts that go down to my knees. I have a pair of hammies corduroy shorts I found secondhand for $35 but I’m not looking to spend $80 a pair for them straight from their site… But they are the best pair I currently own. I pretty much just wear those and some cheap jorts cause I find it really difficult to find ones that I like. Any recommendations for shorts somewhat similar to this that have a shorter inseam, are form fitting & comfy but not restrictive and made of decent material around $35 or less? Bonus points if you can find some with fun designs that aren’t swim trunks hahaha
