Cherry Shake from Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning and Story of Seasons! The cherries that I bought for this shake are literally so good, and even better paired with the ice cream and milk!
Warm Milk from Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar! It’s hard to convey warm via photo, but it certainly is a cozy late night beverage, especially with something sweet to pair with it.
Sweetie Potato from Rune Factory: 2! The recipe I found for these mashed sweet potatoes is really good! I’ll definitely be saving and making these another time.
Garlic Steak from Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon! I should’ve added some more freshly grated garlic or a garlic sauce for dipping, but the marinade used garlic and the flavor came through! I would recommend more garlic though for garlic lovers.
Tomato Risotto from Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley, Tree of Tranquility, Animal Parade, + (3D) A New Beginning and Story of Seasons + Trio of Towns! I love all risotto and this recipe is no exception!
Macaroni and Beef from Story of Seasons! This is one of the few mentions of meat outside of seafood in the main series games. Of course the in-game recipe doesn’t call for beef.
Chocolate Pizza from Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos! This is a cute little recipe that I’m sure kids would absolutely adore. Regardless, it of course tasted great!
Good Juice 1 from Harvest Moon: A(nother) Wonderful Life! I opted for the most appealing mixture of juice options for this recipe, which was apple, orange, and carrot. I would still recommend a little less carrot to balance the flavors better.
Mashed Potato from Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness, Sunshine Islands, Tree of Tranquility, Animal Parade, and The Tale of Two Towns! I went out of my way to find a recipe suitable for a single mashed potato and best I could find was two and halved the recipe.
Frozen Yogurt from Story of Seasons! I’m surprised to see this dish only present in one game considering yogurt is such a common recipe or even having its own maker machines in some games.
Heart Drink from Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, 2, 3, 4, and 5! Make this for the bachelor(ette) you fancy most in the game you’re playing, you’ll be sure to win them over quickly!
Grilled Fish and Mushrooms from Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley! I always know when there’s a very wordy or specific fish dish that it will be from this game. It had a lot of uniquely named recipes.
Milk Rice Porridge from Harvest Moon (+Story of Seasons): Grand Bazaar! While this dish looks plain, the recipe is actually packed with flavor and might be one of my all time favorites that I’ve made. It tastes so good!
Creamy Margherita Pizza from Harvest Moon: Light of Hope! There are quite a few game entries that added a gimmick theme to base recipes; Light of Hope is a very guilty entry for this. I recall ‘Creamy’ being tacked on in the front of a few.
Honey Flan from Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma! I still haven’t perfected the custard base for flan, but, this is really tasty and honey lends itself well as a caramel.
Nature’s Bounty from Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma! This is a special dish that can be made when you cook together with Pilika. I love that mechanic from this game!
Rare Salad from Harvest Moon (Story of Seasons): A(nother) Wonderful Life! I was looking at the model for the rare salad from the Story of Seasons remake when drawing inspiration for this salad.
Miracle Carbonic from Return to PoPoLoCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale! While I couldn’t get my hands on the actual miracle berry in real life, if you could make a carbonated drink from it, it would certainly be interesting for a party!
Poached Egg from Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar! Poached eggs are my favorite style of egg but they can be tricky to do, so I use an egg cooker that produces perfect poached eggs every time.
