Thnks to this sub I've come out of my reading slump and have a thousand books borrowed on Libby 🤭

I'm looking for a FL who's out spoken, even better if she's not looking for a man or a traditional life. I want their relationship together to feel authentic and full of banter. Even better if she puts him in his place with no hesitation 🤭 FL is grumpy but grows to respect and admire her

I was a certified Wattpad girly in my teens and few years back (I'm in my late 20s lol) thought it'd be fun to reread some of my favs. Most were cringey asf

But i thoroughly enjoyed the Storm and Silence series!! He had published more books and the quality drops after a point but it's fun!

It's such a fun, breezy read and i just love the ML and FL! They have so much fun banter, adventures and a genuine connection that took a LONG time to develop

The historical backdrop was a key piece as women were not allowed to work at that time, the endless balls and events. And the colorful supporting characters

Any recommendations that have the same vibe? Easy read, strong characters, genuine relationship progression, no cheating, I'm not looking for spice specificall but don't mind it. I need the yearningggg.

I was selected in November 2025 for consultant or equivalent role through MBA campus placements

I completed all my program requirements a few months ago, but I haven't received any further communication since i recieved the goodies in March

Around when can I realistically expect to be onboarded?
