legit why shouldn't we put all kids on puberty blockers

the pain inflicted on 99 cis kids by having their puberty delayed a year or two is far surpassed by the pain inflicted on 1 trans kid by being denied an early transition. children often aren't given the tools to discover their trans identity until they are much older than puberty. we shouldn't let their bodies make this irreversible and destructive decision for them.

cisgender headcanons are so disrespectful

i understand that every character in every piece of media ever created being trans might make it hard for cis kids to see themselves represented, but headcanoning these characters as cis really just ignores their character and reduces them to their gender. why can't we just let girls be feminine? if cis people want representation, they should make their own original characters.

genuinely how are you supposed to get better at drummania

ive been hard stuck breaking out of the 5.50 - 6.50 difficulty range for at least 5 months at this point. granted, im a little bit stunted in my ability to regularly practice since my nearest arcade is an hour away, and the only way to practice locally is a college club that has a clone hero setup once a week, but it still feels like I should be making better progress than i am. i am hard struggling with complicated rhythms that require high degrees of mental separation between the feet and hands, and my rolls are very inconsistent. im not even sure ive got a viable double stroke technique at this point.

is it just not possible to get good at this game without formal training on the drums? ive been looking through free online resources but haven't found them all that useful. im at the point where ive genuinely been considering buying drum courses and DVDs and stuff to try and stop sucking at this game.
