A mature crowd that comes for the music first, not just the names on the flyer. A dancefloor filled with people who understand that the best nights aren’t measured by hype, but by the journey the music takes you on. Every set is given the time to breathe, every transition has a purpose, and every person contributes to an atmosphere built on respect, connection, and a shared love for house music. It’s this collective energy that has become the heart of our community and what makes every Certified Groovers gathering feel so special.

This Saturday 6/6: Certified Groovers 4 Year Anniversary w/ Josh Butler — Los Angeles

When we started this project, the idea wasn’t to build a brand around headliners. It was to create a platform for local talent and build the kind of dance floor we felt was missing in Los Angeles.

Four years later, we’re still here.

Throughout the years we’ve brought in artists we admire from around the world, but the heart of Certified Groovers has always been the residents, the local DJs, and the community that shows up party after party because they love the music.

For our anniversary we wanted to do something special, so we’re bringing in Josh Butler again, someone whose music has been a big inspiration to us for years. But just as importantly, he’ll be sharing the night with a lineup of artists who represent what Certified Groovers has always been about: Cowbunz & Giova, Neeko, Outlier & ZINI.

What I’m most proud of after four years isn’t any particular booking. It’s seeing familiar faces still showing up, meeting people who became friends through these parties, and watching a dance floor that genuinely cares about the music.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. Whether you’ve been there since the beginning or just discovered us recently, you’ve helped make this possible.

Hope to see some of you on the dance floor Saturday.

What’s up everyone,

I’ve been meaning to do this for a minute. I recently became more aware of how active and supportive this community is around what we’re building with Certified Groovers, and I just wanted to come in here and say thank you. For real. Seeing people talk about the parties, share their experiences, and show love from all angles doesn’t go unnoticed.

Certified Groovers was never meant to be about hype or clout. It’s always been about the dancefloor first. Proper groove, long sets, selectors who actually care about what they’re playing, and a space where people can move freely without distractions. No pressure, no ego, just music and connection. Whether it’s vinyl sets, all-night journeys, or outdoor/indoor flows, the intention has always been the same: build something that feels honest.

I also want to take a moment to address New Year’s Eve. That night didn’t go how we planned. It was our first time dealing with a shutdown like that, and to be completely real, we didn’t fully know what to do in that moment. We tried everything we could to relocate and keep it going, but it just wasn’t possible. We ended up pivoting into a New Year’s Day party so people could still come together. Everyone who asked for a refund through RA was refunded. That was important to us.

We learned a lot from that experience, and we’ve been applying those lessons moving forward to make things stronger and more solid every time.

At the end of the day, none of this exists without you. The people who show up, dance, support, and believe in what we’re doing. That’s what keeps it alive.

Thank you for the constant support. Let’s keep going and let the music lead. 🤍
