We are thinking of extending our kitchen up to the property line between us and our neighbour (only extending width not length).

I’ve had a look and it seems we can probably do this through permitted development but I’m worried that there may be issues with it being against our neighbours conservatory.

Not a clue how long it’s been there and our extension would be shorter than the length of their conservatory.

Anyone foresee an issue here?

I have been knitting for a few years but stripes are new to me.

Between rounds I’m twisting the yarns in the back to carry the floats but the join between the beginning and end of my rounds are so ugly and wide.

For some reason the last stitch before switching colours is huge and I can see the yarn behind where I start a new round.

I’m trying to make the twists between rounds tight to pull the gap closed but it doesn’t seem to be working🥲

Any advice much appreciated!!
