Autumn is my favorite season and I love setting up and taking seasonal pictures of my game. 3 of the areas in my hood have all 4 seasons with 1 having two springs, a fall and winter where it's more north and rainy. Then 2 subhoods are three summers and a spring (dry/hot and wet/mild).
What kind of season set ups do you do and does it vary?
Does anyone else have a hard time moving sims on from their apartments and end up staying a lot longer than planned? Well that happened with my sims - they had a small apartment downtown in a tall building with mint views but it was cramped. They couldn't entertain very many people and they ran out of wall space. Stuff in a drum set and a bass, and there was hardly room to move across the living room!
So they finally let their lease expire, and it was hard for me but I packed up all their stuff and re-arranged it into a new home. That's at least a bit of fun, figuring out what they should keep and how to put their stuff into a new place that makes sense.
Oliva Kapitha lives at a senior retirement village in my desert downtown, Pandora. It has nice, weather year-round and a variety of things to do! She was an executive chef and Pandora is a hot spot for great food, which she really appreciates! The Hortchata Village is right next to a Bingo Hall where Olivia goes on Tuesdays. It services her contemporaries, they all love a good bingo and the variety of food they can get there.
There's also a bowling alley, which can do a number on their joints, so she makes sure to invite buddies that take their vitamins. In addition to bowling it has karaoke, and also a small pottery studio she can use to work on some badge skills she wants to achieve in her leisurely retirement time.
She also wants to write a novel, it's never too late to start!
Every Year I try to put out a handful of pictures featuring the mothers of my custom hood. This year we have:
Pammy Hutch (the middle), not winning mother of the year ward anytime soon what with seducing her daughter's love interests during her cougar era. She might regret having so many spawns with short attention spans.
Piper Calhoun, new mom and knowledge sim. Observing a newborn is fascinating!
Raine Hart (on the right), pushing elder, and with a great skincare routine and weekly yoga classes she is very flattered when people mistake her as a sister to her young adult daughter.
Siri Thackery (Holding the infant), finally got her first grand baby and is obsessed. This little fellow is going to be spoiled. Her three adult children didn't know she could be so doting!
Leona Thackery, Siri's daughter-in-law. This is also her first time being a mother and her favorite thing to do is sing him to sleep.
The Syndicate Leader invited the usual suspects to his estate for a night of fun. There were prominent locals, old friends, old lovers, and a new love interest among the guests.
He had squared up and done away with his arduous feelings, closing them off as they had been up until that point, blasting out like a broken fire hydrant. He was focused now. He only wanted her.
After making his rounds, and everyone found their way inside, did they finally got a chance to be alone.
