Repurposed trailers that have been neatly stacked into a livable space. Arguably the cheapest place to live in the district! Everyone even gets one window (luxuriuous).

Sims can't fall asleep while having them, so they can be used to get Sims out of the dreaded hungry-sleepy loop
Alternately, can put pizza slices in inventory of pregnant Sims and pull it out to save a trip to the fridge
I'm playing with Story Progression on (but aging off screen off) and ACR and jealousy off.
Each household consists of a 'commune' with the households they originated from:
- Bin
- Pleasantview
- Strangetown
- Veronaville
- Bluewater Village
- Riverblossom Hills
- Desiderata Valley
- Belladonna Cove
- Widespot
I'm merely the observer for the most part.
Communes (one household each)
thought this was a little interesting. this install of the sims 2 includes a little game to play called “grow your sims” — didn’t get all the way through it but I’m assuming it’s all just trivia and matching.
I have the most dramatic alien soap opera going on between the Goths that I just had to share! :)
Previously, I shared that I crash-landed an alien into the Goth graveyard for Alexander Goth because apparently he couldn’t stand anyone on his home planet. Well… Alexander actually ended up falling for the cute alien. They got married and even had a kid together. The kid is not from PT, it's Alex's baby (Orion's genes were fighting for their life here!). Alex even built them a new house near the crash site with a little observatory. It honestly could have been a wholesome love story… if not for one tall, blond, handsome problem: Dorian Goth.
Dorian is Mortimer and Dina’s son, and he looks SO much like Dina. He developed a huge crush on Orion. Honestly, I think, it must be the alien Caliente ancestry in action.
The thing is, Dorian had been dating Stephan Broke (Brandi and Skip’s third son) since high school, and they were even engaged. But Stephan didn’t want to get married, rejected Dorian’s proposal, and they broke up. To make things worse, Stephan had also been cheating on him with a congressman for a while.
So Dorian started pursuing Orion instead. He invited him over to his Downtown apartment constantly and kept visiting Alexander’s house whenever Alex was at work and Orion was home alone with the baby. Alexander didn’t suspect a thing.
I’ll give Orion credit.. My green boy resisted the flirting for a while. But eventually he could not withstand the Caliente charm. And then… Orion got pregnant from Dorian too.
Alexander eventually realized you can’t get two pregnancies from one woohoo. There was screaming, slapping, and absolute chaos. In the end, Alexander threw Orion out of the house and I must say Alex actually looked happy about it! Meanwhile their son Elio was crying while his mama left. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Epilogue
Alex is now raising his half-alien son alone.
Dorian proposed to Orion. They have an adorable alien baby together and moved into that cool vampire mansion in Downtown.
At this point I have FOUR alien babies in the Goth bloodline... IT’S AN INVASION.
I know she has not been doing anything for a while and that something happened, but there was so many things I used from there. I just last week used it, for searching mods and lots! Also hope Garden of shadows manages to come back! I can't if they don't get it to work!
Dina was, according to her memories, a teen when the adult Michael started getting closer to her (ick) and she and Nina are still fairly new to Pleasantview (where did they live before?), so I've always wondered how they ever crossed paths. Hopefully not in a school zone
And, tangential question, why doesn't Dina know Bella at all if they used to be sisters-in-law?
making a Sims 2 Hospital, didn't have some Ideas:
it is a 5x5 lot, and I looked at many photos on how to make a hospital, I don't know what am I gonna build... hmmm?
well I wanted to build a modern hospital?
Well, to start off with, Don married Cassandra and they live together with a daughter named Rooney (because isn't the name Rooney Lothario actually kinda cute)
HOWEVER, Don also got Dina preggonated, who uh married Mortimer right after she and Don did their thing
Mortimer actually had no idea Dina was even pregnant until this bitch out of nowhere allofasudden had a belly on her AND upon this shocking discovery, Don, who had been at Mortimer's house this whole time hanging out, started fucking clapping and celebrating SO now Mortimer hates them both and wants to divorce Dina
That isn't all though because of course it isn't
Don got Nina preggo too so now she's a single mom to TWINS of all things and I know she hates the fuck out of her life now bro
Mary-Sue is living alone now in her elderly years because her daughters are at uni with their boyfriends now and her husband mysteriously died in a fire after he was caught with a certain maid in the bed he sleeps in with his wife
Brandi and her family have moved up in the world; Dustin is at uni, Beau is a teenager with the best grades, her third son who is named Christopher is now starting school, they adopted a dog, and the whole family moved to a better house but a shocking plot twist was added to the mix when Brandi got heart eyes toward Mortimer
I've seen a lot of people talking about how Paralives feels like the Sims 2, but I would like to know what real Sims 2 players think about this.
I personally feel like Paralives, even though seems to have a huge potential, doesn't even touch the surface of what The Sims 2 was/is at the moment.
A new 45 minutes long gameplay just released, and honestly seems REALLY good, they've implemented a "storyteller" feature that adds chance cards every night that add real impact on the Paras lives (for example, one of the cards they got during the gameplay was about the wife getting an affair with her co-worker) and you can choose how much drama you want. They also added a whole museum and community center that reminds me of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. The museum also has a shop that works really similar to how Open for Business works.
But even with that, to me the game doesn't seem to be half as detailed as TS2 (it does look better than TS4 tho). Animations look weird, Paras look like the don't belong in their enviroment, personalities don't seem to be detailed (at least from what I could see) and I fear emotions will be as annoying as they are in TS4 (they showed the "embarassed" emotion can appear just because someone with certain personality is around you, even if they're not doing anything embarassing).

Hello everyone,
So first, I want to just say sorry for my English Level, I am French, so sorry for mistakes.
I don't know much about the Sims 2, I grew up with the Sims 3 and I absolutely love it. But I have a question and a problem to solve.
I don't know much about The Sims 2's inner workings since I grew up with The Sims 3. I am a French Lore YouTuber, and TS2 is on my list of games to cover. However, I also want to play the game for fun with my own custom family. Because of the way TS2's saving system works (unlike TS3/TS4 where you can have multiple save slots), I don't want to modify or touch the original premade neighborhoods like Pleasantview, Strangetown, or Veronaville.
So I thought of creating my own city and move all my favorite premade families there (the Goths, Capps, Montys, Specters, etc.) using the default family bin. However, I was told this causes severe neighborhood corruption, which I knew nothing about. I have since deleted that neighborhood to avoid any issues.
Is it possible to create a custom world, bring in these famous premade families with their original houses, family trees, and memories, while keeping the game 100% safe from corruption? For example, one day in my family, I would like to marry either Cassandra or Alexander Goth to be linked with their family.
The first picture shows you the world I was creating but I stopped after learning about this, I took family off their world with the family boxes and added them here, the second a bug I had in Pleasentview which the lore family stories disappeared but I succeed to make it back.
I know some people use "Clean Templates" or "Megahoods," but I'm completely lost on how to set it up properly, especially since I need to keep my original hoods untouched for my YouTube channel. Has anyone tried this? Do you have any advice or guides for a beginner?
Currently my neighborhood is rife with flu and none of my Sims can visit community lots because they just keep catching it!
I was wondering if there was any way to stop diseased Sims from turning up on these lots?
My hood glow up ✨
edit: i added new roads with the latest version of SimPE! ❤️
My sim was announcing her pregnacy and camera panned to her but she stayed skinny and it kept positing the camera to her when i unpaused AND she was constant state of almost announcing the preg so she couldn't do any other action. I tried to fix this with force error but but it didnt work. HELP
