I've always loved the lil' attic with the easel in the Goth Mansion... so I made an edit of it! I can imagine Bella and Mortimer gifting her the easel. Then Cassandra growing up and making it her studio. She'd paint her mom's face from memory until she can't remember anymore :'(

I posted before abt my family with Nervous and Lola. They’reew elders now and they have 3 daughters: Juniper (funky cool eldest), Nebula (preppy blonde twin), and Astra (techy brunette twin). They just had their first grandchild, Stella, too! (Juniper married Castor Nova from a fraternity in Sim State uni. Their names are so cool now: Juniper Nova & Stella Nova 🌌💫). They met at a frat party and Juniper partied so much, she became influential. She’s a successful artist now while Castor is surprisingly, a cult leader 😭 (didn’t expect his philosophy major would give him a sudden promotion. Now they’re like an artsy weird couple). But yeah, my first gen is almost done and I miss seeing Nervous & Lola as adults :( but i’m happy the family is expanding! Nebula is dating Tank and is planning to move out with him to a farm for a trad wife life. But as a romance sim, she’s going after Ripp too 🤩 Astra might get into the Curious family. That’s all! I love my babies m🥳
Hello, it's my first time making a VN demo and I used visuals from my favorite game, Sims 2! This is purely for fun and I'm just so happy I could make stories with my sims. :) Anyways, here's a download link to the file via dropbox. Apologies for the big file size, I'm not sure yet how to optimize my assets :o I also included visuals I made of the story's context. If you're a sims 2 player, this format would feel familiar hehe (plus the perfect Strangetown sci-fi vibe). If you're new to sims 2: Strangetown is basically a weird neighborhood with aliens, scientists, occults, etc. I just made a story where I tied in OG sims thru supernatural phenomena haha. Would love to know what you guys think!
My inspo for this was also some of my favorite media: Twin Peaks, Lost, and Welcome to Nightvale.

Hello! I posted a few times about making a sims 2 visual novel of my stories hehe. Here's another update with scenes and what my project folder looks like (I enjoy looking at all the assets I've accumulated so why not share). Maya Parker is my legacy sim and Neo is Pascal Curious' son. Meanwhile, Belle is a servo aide I had Mortimer make.
Anywayssss the intro demo is almost finished! I'm only a beginner on VN coding so hopefully the imagery makes up for the linear storytelling. Excited to share this with yall soon!!

Not sure if y'all remember my last post about stories I made for Strangetown (link to post here). But I'm currently making a visual novel version of it for fun! The sims 2 visuals fit so good with eerie music and VN gameplay. Gives it a weird nightvale/twin peaks vibe. But yeah, I'm just coding an intro version for now. I test played it and I'm so happy with how the music, choices, and dialogue came out. Will share soon! :)
