Hi! First time poster here. I have one specific issue on the Legacy edition and a question.
I was wondering if anyone could help? Thanks in advance. :-)
1) I used this process (link : https://sunradersims.wordpress.com/2020/11/25/fix-for-missing-holiday-items/) to restore the missing outfits from the "Happy Holiday" stuff pack by replacing some installation files. Such outfits include afbodydressthai, afbodykimono, afbodyqipao and ambodysantaeuropean amongst other examples.
This worked like a charm... at first. Now the game refuses to display the outfits in-game (as well as in CAS and in BodyShop) and replaces them with random existing outfits. Even the thumbnails were deleted and replaced with random placeholders.
I have no idea why this issue occurred, the rest of the game works fine. I tried to withdraw some recent mods I downloaded to see if that fixed the issue, but no dice. What's weirder is that I went to inspect the Base fame skins file in SimPe and the "property sets" files of the outfits are still there. I think that for whatever reason, the game can't find the appropriate meshes or refuses to link them the "property sets" file ? Very strange.
Recently I've also noticed some issues with certain outfits from the old Sim store which also stopped displaying properly. I just thought it was a faulty mod file and removed them, but now I'm wondering if this isn't a larger issue. Is this a sign of game corruption? I've run the HoodChecker and my neighborhoods look fine.
2) Some of my sims own businesses on community lots and can set a work uniform for themselves. I also have a mod (Pescado's "Business runs you") which allow me to make the owner do cerain tasks (cleaning, restocking, etc;) when they visit their owned community lot.
However, when another sim visits said community lot, the owner just wanders around uselessly and never wears their work uniform (unlike their employees). Is this normal in the base game? I was wondering if there was a mod to fix that.
