I’m a 1st year medical student in Morocco, studying in a city that isn’t my hometown.
My family is going through a really difficult financial situation. My parents currently don’t have a job/income, and honestly, paying for rent, food, transportation, etc. while studying away from home is becoming really hard.
I really want to continue medicine, so I’m trying to find any possible solution.
I’m looking for things like:
scholarships or financial aid
student sponsorships / someone who can help sponsor a student
or similar programs
a part-time job that I could do alongside med school
or honestly any advice from someone who has been in a similar situation
If you’re Moroccan or studying in Morocco and you know of an organization, program, person, or website that could help, I’d really appreciate it.
And if you were in a similar situation and managed to find a solution, please tell me how you did it. Even a small piece of advice or a contact could really help me right now.
