Weekly Party Discussion | 3 - 5 July 2026
Hi there,
It feels weird to write about parties right now and share any excitement about them but here I am writing this one. Last week, we lost one of ours, and as I'm writing this, my heart is still heavy and I'm still processing this loss.
You know, when you're clubbing, you end up making many of these fleeting connections, bonds formed in the club that somehow feel deeper than the ones you have with some friends outside, all because of the shared emotions and magic we experience together. Sometimes, these connections are with people whose names you don't even know. But when you dance next to them, you share a smile or a nod, and just finding them on the dancefloor gives you a sense of belonging and sanctuary. Sar, with her radiant energy and infectious smile, always provided that feeling around her. These connections, whether fleeting or deep, are what make our dear dancefloors feel so special, and they are why we keep coming back. Rest in peace, Sar. We will keep you in our memory with every dance. <3

Discovered this album a few weeks ago and just found out they are playing at Muziekgebouw this week. Through the album, they create scenes and landscape using electronic elements, and I think this will come even more alive in a concert setting.

Mad Miran doing an all nighter in your fave club, for the joy of all the leftfield folks.
Upsammy curates @ Garage Noord
Choosing between Mad Miran and Upsammy playing on the same night is tough here. This feels like a replay of Morocco vs Netherlands in the World Cup. Good luck, whatever you choose, you are making the right choice but I personally lean for Morocco.

VBX x Kalahari Oyster Club @ Tillatec
VBX are teaming up with Kalahari Oyster Cult, record label from Rey Colino. We are spoiled to have such a nicely curated lineup, highlights for me are Paquita Gordon cuz she has this way to draw you into her set that makes you never want to leave, Muallem (Blitz club founder) and Ion Ludwig.
MARICAS x Bass for Dykes @ Raum
What a great matchup of FLINTA collectives. Sultry sexy house upstairs, basssss downstairs.
5 Years of Pax @ Radion
Pax needs no introduction in the sub, back for another edition in their home base Radion to celebrate their 5th year.
Bordello a Parigi @ Noorderlicht
Worth mentioning because this is a fantastic lineup for all Disco and Italo Disco peeps, hosted in Noorderlicht, a nice waterfront venue in NDSM, offering space for open air dancing. If you’re into this kind of music, you will be served.
Zenith & U Festival @ De Nijverheid
12-hour day n night celebration of Utrecht creative scene with many local names. I love De Nijverheid as a venue but I’ve only been there for concerts a few times, so I’m curious how they transform the venue to host all these dj sets and live performances.
