Hey y'all - just wanted to give everybody a heads up that I was just DMed by a reporter from The Guardian named Alaina Demopoulos looking for an interview. Please do not grant her an interview. She is anti-AI and her take will not be generous.
On its face, her request sounded harmless and neutral, but I did a little digging into her body of work and found that she's pretty anti-AI. Previous articles she's written make it pretty clear that she reaches out for interviews within our community sounding supportive, then writes pieces that disparage the idea of AI companionship with lots of quotes from "experts" about why they're unhealthy.
She even has a piece about how she won't date anyone who even uses ChatGPT. She writes,

I used a cheat to get to the first Prague level after starting a new save and I realized I had no powerups. So I went back to get some easy money by stealing but when I went back to Paris, Sly was not in the safe house and the game crashed. Murray was there though which is odd. I restarted and Bentley is trapped in the tutorial lol. Idk if anyone ever saw this but it was interesting.
I just saw a video attempting to be funny I guess about how data centers are bad. They started pouring out a gallon of water onto a guy who was laying on the ground pretending he was a thirsty computer. Just literally pouring water out as ragebait. I think these people are missing the plot entirely.
