What would you suggest to someone who wants to start studying Catholicism on a deeper, philosophical level?

Mi sono convertita da poco dopo anni di agnosticismo e non so spiegare neanche io bene cosa mi ha spinto ad avere fede.... Il mio percorso si è rivelato molto più "emotivo" e mentale che intellettuale, e vorrei riempire questo vuoto con qualche lettura sul cattolicesimo. Cosa consigliate che per voi si è rivelato una lettura veramente importante? Che sia sulle vite dei santi, sulle basi del cattolicesimo, sui padri della chiesa, su riflessioni spirituali...

So, this must have been posted hundreds of times but what would be your book suggestions for someone new to the faith? I've become Catholic recently after decades of agnosticism and the amount of books and different angles to pursue makes it hard to decide. Where to start from?

I just know the basics (more from being Italian than from formal teaching and study).
