quit after orientation
So, I had just finished orientation later today, but I had to quit bc it genuinely was a strain on my spine ( I have scoliosis ) and even after telling the assistant manager who handled my interview on tuesday, they had me sit for 4 hours in a cramped room on a shitty metal chair. none of the videos had audio or were what I NEEDED, even the video for operating the cash register itself was in optional. When I finished all the videos, the manager had given me a cart of "go-backs" ( cart full of stuff in the wrong areas that you have to return ) and I wasn't given a tour of the building, she just sent me off to return things when I didn't know where they went. Another employee also said that during busier times, you have to share lockers, which I'm not leaving my phone and wallet where someone else can access easily. Was I wrong for quitting the day of orientation ??? It was a seasonal job either way but my first regardless and my parents both agreed it wasn't smart on managements end. Was I too quick to judge this or was it a smart call on my end for leaving?
EDIT: No, this isn't a vent about spinal issues, rather a vent about the MANAGEMENT issues at the stkre near me, not every other Hobby Lobby. I know my spine will kill me regardless of what I do please try to understand this :(
