Hi everyone! I’m a newbee here and comparing Neo WEMC with MBNA WEMC and hard to make a decision. MBNA has 10% return on annual points but it lacks rebates on gas stations. Neo has more rebate categories but a higher annual fee. Is Neo still categorizing Walmart supercenter as grocery? I’m confused as I saw in previous discussions that walmart was removed from grocery rebates. Thanks everyone in advance!
I'm a work permit holder and have 110k in NOA. Two weeks ago I opened chequing account in branch and submitted application for Momentum Visa Infinite but was delined instantly. FA asked me to provide NOAs of 2 years, T1 of 2 years, paystubs, employer letter and asked me to explain how much I owe CRA this year (I'm a self employer working for US company) but no progress. I called Scotia customer service and was told that the application is still in progress. Last Friday FA called me and suggested me to book an appointment with him and said if I'm willing to get another card with lower limit (proably $500). However, the only card I want is Momentum Visa Infinite which can be used to pay CRA instalment taxes. Should I accept a card with lower limit then wait for upgrade in the future, or stop the application as is? Thank you in advance!
