Boost my confidence so I finally go ahead with my Vespa dream? 🤩

Since I visited the Isle of Wight in my early twenties (~15 years ago) and seeing an Island of happy Vespa lovers, I have had a dream of becoming a happy Vespa loving Vespa owner myself.

This had become possible in recent years now I can afford to, and have time to spend on a new hobby!

The only thing holding me back is being scared of drivers who may not see me and/or other issues on the road! Perhaps I’m being too nervous.

I’m not ‘in it’ for speed or adrenaline. Love the idea of nipping to the shop or heading out to a nice walking path and also having a side car for my dog/kids but that can come later!

I’d love to know if this is a real concern, or tips for how I could stick to feeling confident and safe. I imagine that I would stick to small roads with low speed limits etc?
