I was planning to make raclette potatoes this week, but then I found an après-ski drink ideas list and took the opportunity to made my first hot toddy!
Great way to welcome the weekend.
Just a hint of sugar to enhance the anise seed flavor! We like to drizzle these with dark chocolate and store them in the freezer. Perfect with tea, coffee, or dessert wine.

Chopin, cherry simple syrup, Angostura and orange bitters, Luxardo cherries, and Poppi because our club soda was totally flat. Cheers!
We don’t have bacon very often, but when we do, it’s definitely for BLTs!
The bread is a 2lb sandwich loaf with 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning (might up it to 3 tablespoons next time) baked in a Zojirushi bread machine.

Had to try Sally’s recipe for myself! It made 16 croissants, and these are the first four I baked. I froze the rest for later.
I substituted the egg wash with a 2:1 sweetened condensed milk and butter mix so my son got to enjoy his first croissant ever!
Found a new dip that the whole family loves, and my pita bread actually puffed up. Win-win!
