High level skaters running programs during public sessions

Exactly the title. I use my lunch break to practice basic skills at quieter times (I don’t jump yet, I can do a two foot spin, I practice one foot glides, boring stuff!) and every single week day there are the extremely high level girls there running entire programs at 700mph. This isn’t freestyle or club ice just to be clear. It’s my local rink’s Noon Skate or Public Skate. I tried talking to the rink manager about it because I almost broke an ankle dodging one girl at high speed. The rink manager basically told me go F myself and the high level girls can do whatever they want.

What do you make of this? I don’t want to be known as Ice Karen but I’m not a good enough skater yet for freestyle ice, that’s why I practice gliding and LTS skills on public sessions during work/school hours (I WFH).

Sorry if this whole post made me the Ice Karen I definitely don’t want to be.

Recently my engagement ended. I’ve been pushing down feelings about it and trying to move on. I was shopping with Nmom today when the song that was supposed to be my first dance song came on and I said “ouch, yuck, this hurts” about it. Nmom proceeds to loudly enjoy and sing the song saying it’s “her favorite” and why can’t she enjoy it?

I explained she can live without it while with me since I expressed how it hurt me to hear it. She proceeds to call me selfish and rude for those feelings. It’s always what they want and their needs and feelings. Never ours.

The lack of empathy from this woman is unending. Holy shit.

I consulted (by phone) with the attorney who settled my grandma’s estate about missing funds based on court documents I found that don’t match the will. He “agreed” something was off and said he’d check the file and call me back with an update. Instead, he called my cousin who then called me yelling about how I’m irresponsible and the estate was settled fairly.

My cousin isn’t the executor of the will. The lawyer I called was. Why would this lawyer blast me to my cousin?

Any input would be helpful. The lawyer resides in FL. Family is all over the USA.

ETA: this has caused a huge rift in my family because now I look “greedy” when I was actually checking if there were funds left for elder/dementia care for my parent.
