Hey everyone,

I’m planning my first solo trip to Varkala and I’m honestly super excited about it.

Current plan is to leave Bangalore by bus on Thursday night, reach Varkala Friday morning, stay there Friday + Saturday and head back Saturday night.

Also wanted suggestions regarding:

• good itinerary ideas for this plan
• must visit places in and around Varkala
• activities worth trying like surfing, kayaking or anything else
• any other suggestions.

And since it’s close to monsoon season, are there usually any restrictions on beaches/swimming/surfing because of rain or rough sea conditions around this time?
