1M savings after 8 months of hard work
Hello!
28M, I'm happy to share na after 8 months of hard work na reach ko na yung first goal ko.
Last year November 2025, medyo stressed kase wala ako halos personal savings lahat napupunta sa family (parents / siblings) at pang sustain sa personal expenses ko (rent, food, etc.) kase nakabukod / independent ako sa kanila.
Last November rin nag all in ako at nag start ng freelancing. Pagod at puyat. Day job sa umaga, freelance sa gabi. Minsan 4 hours tulog, swerte na pag 6 hours. Thankfully di naman ako tumagos sa pinto kaka overtime.
Lagi ako may self-doubt at for the longest time ngayon ko lang naramdaman na kaya ko naman pala.
Next step ko dito ay diversification, right now nakatambak sa digitalbank ko pero ililipat ko ito at i-invest (Multiple MP2 account, Intl. Stocks, little bit of crypto) tapos optimization ng expenses.
edit: don't worry guys, nag cacatch up naman ako sa sleep. I take a break rin pag sundays. tapos I do have healthcard and insurance.
