Hello all!

As a bit of background - diagnosed in 2023, currently on Metformin and Sprironolactone.

Periods are there but quite irregular, sometimes very very short and twice monthly, sometimes not there for a couple of months at the time.

Have not been for my blood work in a bit, and one of my worries are high cholesterol and diabetes - both of which I know run in the family also, so not great start.

Discussed this with my doctor, and as I am quite overweight, he has suggested the option of starting a GLP-1 to help manage weight loss and attack other symptoms.

Just looking to get some opinions from other people...I have to admit I am coming from quite the sedentary lifestyle + stress has been kicking my butt so lots of binge eating lately, and I understand these are not some miracle medications that will magically help me lose weight and moreso of an external aid in regulating how the body processes food.

Just trying to see how people have found being on a GLP-1 with PMOS and if this has helped with symptoms on top of the weight loss?
