We have a very short layover in London from Sunday 5/31 at 10:45pm to Monday 6/1 at 1:35pm. We are a couple in our 30s visiting for the first time.

We are deciding where to stay and considering Paddington but open to other options.

We want help planning a simple, realistic plan that includes the best area to stay for easy travel from Heathrow and back, whether it is worth going into central London for a short night out or if we should stay near our hotel, a morning plan focused on parks, riverside walks, architecture, good coffee and food stops that do not require much travel.

We want something romantic efficient and memorable without overplanning or wasting time in transit. Please help me plan! Thank you in advance.
