Sometimes, when I want to talk about world politics in a general way, I'll use Belgium as a substitute villain: "But what if the Belgians invade?". "If the Belgians took my family hostage, I'd do whatever they tell me."

My HOA is townhomes and open space with a fence. The gates are key locked on both sides, so if you are on foot and don't have a key, you can't leave. That sounds like false imprisonment? Is that legal?

Pretty much every description of the immune system I've read goes on and on about how it decides what needs to be attacked and then just kind of stops.
OK. The immune system decides Virus X or Bacteria Y needs to go. How does it actually do that? Once that decision is made, how does it actually destroy the target?
