Ozma is officially a pain in my butt

I'm not going to say he's the hardest boss I've fought, but he's up there.

I've been banging my head against him for 2 days, 6-7 hours total. I am finally starting to constistenly get him to his second phase but usually with only 2-3 heals and a prayer.

Just wanted to share my frustation.

I'm running a spear build. I first fought him wearing the Crushed Dreams Armor, then I tried Faded Memories...now I'm using the Golden Armor and it's been the best for him. the rear attack damage and the moonlight awakening skill both are good for damage and continuing to chain it but also for getting the hell out of the way too.

Anyway, I'm going back in. Wish me luck

Jarlings issue

So I am at the final boss. Was getting my butt kicked so I thought I'd go and collect all the jarlings and soul stones. And I went through an online guy to make sure I hit every side mission and I even got the trophy for completing all the side missions. But when I go to the jar guy I have 43 out of 42 jarlings and he's still talking to me like I haven't found them all. I've seen online something about 44 but again I've gone through all the main missions inside missions and I'm not missing anything. I have all the cell stones and all the jarlings.

Additionally when I talk to the Daphrona she acts like I don't have all the soul stones to unleash unless that's something that you can only do in New game Plus?

Golden Armor vs Crushed Dream

So I was looking for like the best armor and stuff for a spear build and everything I found online was the golden armor. And I rocked it for a little while until I came across the crush dreams armor and I think it's pretty badass as well. Both of them have a unique ability but I don't know I think the the crush dreams wins out for me.

What do you all think? And if you have another armor altogether that you'd like to suggest please let me know.

How do you learn this?

Is there like a somewhere in the encyclopedia that I'm not seeing that shows you how to learn this or is it like automatic? Does the game let you know when you learn it? It's just very confusing. I saw this on quite a few different jewelry pieces and armor but I'm not sure how it works.

I forgot about Skalpel's second phase 😢

I got the Skalpel and was already pretty nervous because it took me a long time to beat him the first playthrough. But it's been a long time since I played or I just forgot it of her split second but I beat him in my first try, at least I thought I did, with no more heels left and a sliver of health. But then I saw him pull the body in the coffin and I said oh yeah he's got a second face. But then the mission complete popped up and I was like okay we're good. And then he jumped out of the coffin and whipped my butt.

I was screaming like a girl.

Do you upgrade skills in your preferred weapon category or common first?

I've been going to town on the spear tree skill upgrades completely forgetting about the common section. And I'm guessing even though some of these icons in the comment section have axes and greatswords they all apply to any weapon correct?

So that was the second question but the first question is in the title which do you focus on or do you do both?

Can someone explain to me how these lamps work

So in this video I'm wearing the Pathfinders Lantern. I switch to the Cowards Lamp and it also does the same thing apparently at which I didn't notice before.

Going back to the Pathfinders Lantern, I thought it supposed to show you hidden paths and hidden walls but it tends to take me into an area and it just stops showing me anything. So is it my job to continue exploring that area or does this lamp just not really work?

Ignore the fight with the specter. I wasn't at my best lol

The Spear really is cheat mode

I'm doing my second playthrough on this game. The first one I did the dual wield. I'm doing the spear and I think I've beat every balls in the first 1 to 3 attempts. Honestly probably the first one to two. I don't know why but this thing just destroys everything. I almost feel bad for using it.

What do these symbols mean?

I thought I understood spirit skills and passive skills etc. But these different symbols are confusing me and when I was trying to get Google to explain it to me Google it confused me even more. I understand spirit skills use the diamonds below your character on the HUD. But some of the moves that have the tree branch also use the diamond so are both across and the branch spirit skills?

First let me say that this isn't my first time playing the game. I played once through and to put it down for a while and I'm coming back to it. I don't remember having this issue not knowing where to go after I defeated viper. I'm rerunning through the forgotten Temple, there's nothing that I missed that I can think of or that I've seen, there's not any real good guides online telling you what you can miss to miss the next area. I fought the phantom, in the elevator, I fought the viper, I've been running around fighting phantoms since I've been back trying to figure out what I missed.

So can someone tell me what I missed because when I go back to the crevice there's no obvious place to go, no side quests, no new areas, the only NPC that followed back was the woman that helps with the training room. The bard's not there, I'm just really confused.

I am doing the boss rush with minimum stats and this guy wouldn't be a problem except his double slam attack with the yellow glow gets me everytime.

The first slam is easy to dodge but I can't for the life of me avoid the second. I have tried to wait half a second but I still get knocked down. Then I start panicking and forget to time it.

And I am a panic dodger sometimes. I'd say 60% of the time I am a little panicky B**** and 40% of the time I'm Kool-Aid.
