Walked out at $40.2K OTD for base model

We walked in to the dealer to look at a new 2026 base integra. Southern California. Super nice guy working with us, but this was over budget. Was it a good deal or smart to have walked?

I was going for OTD, but wanted to see what APR they offer so we got those numbers after. Talked them down from $43.5K.

Edit: first time car buyer.
2nd Edit: walked away* from the deal, not out with the car! But thank you to everyone looking out! Plan A has been a civvic sport touring regardless, but I wanted to see how it stacked up against the Integra.
