Switching off hypoallergenic formula after symptoms resolve?

Hi! My 9 week old went on similac alimentum 3 weeks ago due to blood and mucus in stool with suspected MSPI. Since being on the formula the blood and mucus has totally cleared up, woo! I was listening to the Bowel Sounds podcast about CMPI and they highly recommend “challenging” symptoms after a month of being symptom free by introducing a regular formula to increase immunity and tolerance of various foods. I love this idea particularly bc I don’t want my LO to be highly allergic to stuff as she grows up and alimentum is so expensive!!! What is your experience with “challenging” symptoms and trying a regular formula after being on a hydrolyzed or specialty formula? Any formulas your LO particularly really loved or did well on? I know every baby is different and we will be consulting with our feeding team about this switch but would love to hear others’ experiences in the meantime.

Collapsing bottle nipple

Hi! 9 week old baby is EFF with similac alimentum and we are struggling with collapsing nipples on our chicco duo bottles. LO prefers this bottle bc it has a flat nipple and she struggled with Dr Browns and similar shapes :/ we’ve tried loosening the collar and making sure the valves are clear to vent. has anyone else struggled with collapsing nipples with the Chicco duo or other bottles in general? did sizing up in flow help??
