Recently got back into reading and have committed to reading at least 20 pages every day. I’m looking for one or two accountability partners who would like to do something similar.

The idea is simple:

* Read daily (or as consistently as possible).
* Check in with each other to stay on track.
* Talk about what we’re reading, share recommendations, or discuss interesting ideas.
*If you’re comfortable with it, we could even have occasional reading sessions together over video while we read quietly.

I read a mix of fiction and non-fiction, and I’m always open to discovering new books.
One personal preference I’d like to mention respectfully: I’d be most comfortable connecting with people who are generally left-leaning or politically progressive. Many of the books and topics I’m interested in naturally overlap with those perspectives, and I’ve found conversations tend to be more enjoyable and compatible for me when we share similar values. This isn’t meant as a judgment of anyone with different views, it’s simply about finding a good fit for an ongoing reading partnership.

•Willingness to check in regularly (text or a short video call where we read/study together silently or briefly discuss progress)

•Consistency and commitment over the long term

To be clear: I’m not here to make friends or chat casually. This is purely professional and goal-driven. I want someone who shows up, does the work, and holds me accountable and I’ll do the same for you.
