Nobody makes shells for the 2DS, so I decided to just experiment and dye the case. This used to be a white with red sides 2DS. I dyed the red sides black and the front and back panels purple. I wanted the panels to be a uniform color but for some reason I got this cool looking (IMO)tie dye effect. As for the buttons I intended for them to be grey (kind of like the buttons on the switch lite if anyone has seen them) I guess I added to much of the Rit dye and for some reason it gave them a deep purple color which lowkey looks fire. If anyone’s is wondering I used Rit DyeMore synthetic. Honestly one of the easiest consoles i I have ever worked on.
