Oner Active getting called out in their comments

In their recent drop promo videos it was very obvious that they are tripling down on the pilates princess aesthetic and the thin is in body trend. Many people were wondering where the lifting content went, including clothing built with materials conducive to lifting, rather than mini bras with no cleavage coverage, and work out sets with no stretch or support.

I've never bought from Oner, but have been following the discussions / observations of who they have brought on as the "face" of the brand in terms of fitness influencers and how they are always brought on around the time that they drop significant weight (and muscle mass) and how its notable that the content shared by influencers partnered with them is very much soft lifestyle content that just happens to tag oner rather than fully engaged gym/workout content. I've personally seen this with Tamara (previously strong pupusa) who now never posts lifting content anymore but a lot of her content is makeup, soft girly, "going to the gym" but not actually showing a heavy/hard workout. And also with Tahlia. Not that an influencers content can't change and evolve but it almost seems like its a prerequisite to shrink sizes and change your aesthetic and "goals" in order to be able to join Oner.

Taliyah Joelle leaves Gymshark

https://youtu.be/3we4A0KWYTE?is=E6fsnETzz-UrF2ge

interesting timing given all of the call outs she has gotten about her total 180° in what she’s been preaching / prioritizing in the gym. There was peptide speculation but also just the flip flop from promoting healthy eating to now seemingly restricting and being hyper focused on step count etc. I personally never thought she looked unhealthy or “too skinny“ but she obvi dropped weight / body fat. I personally think she looks fine but I also don’t follow her on socials so I’m not see her daily posts.

in a youtube comment posted to a different Reddit thread about a month ago she said she was at 24% body fat and she said in today’s YouTube video she’s at 20% BF

I could never really get into her personality. as a fellow black girl in fitness, I feel our similarities stop there. and that’s okay. I’m not sure how/if her following will loyally follow her to whatever other fitness brand she will inevitably pivot to. She always “reminds” people that she has trained 1000s of women. when you’re providing virtual only training at that high of a volume I just can’t imagine that it’s brag worthy, meaningful work. she says she has something totally new that no one has ever thought of before (paraphrasing) coming in August.

Is all tech UGC essentially canvas ugc?

The question is pretty straightforward.

See a lot of people preaching into the ground tech ugc this and that but all of the opportunities I see them raving about are very clearly canvas UGC. They claim big numbers, 4-5 figures, but they are posting multiple videos a day sometimes from sun up to sun down. This just does not seem like a good use of time for the possibility of money when I could commit that same amount of time (often less) to a guaranteed paid gig. A lot of people starting UGC have full time jobs and can't quit their job to pursue a "maybe".

So is any tech ugc actually known for paying for the traditional exchange?
