Krissy Cela- the smoking model young girls need

She has posted 4-5 times in the past month, mentioning smoking or how much she wants to have a cigarette.

For someone who is "encouraging young girls to move their bodies", she definitely doesn't seem to care about the image she puts out to them.

I'm a smoker but think of this as extremely damaging.

Don't come for me.

Why are we glamorising smoking again

Using Krissys story as an example but I’ve seen such a rise in fitness influencers being open about smoking.. I get it’s coming back because it’s an appetite suppressant and being skinny is trendy but are we being for real?? Balance is about having a cocktail or ice cream or whatever in moderation whilst being healthy overall not inhaling cancer sticks as a treat.

Bye bye Oner (Alexandra Leclerc)

I like Alexandra, but man this brand is dead in terms of training-related branding

kardashians

I know theyre not gym influencers, but they have these personal trainers and doing the most useless exercises ever. (beside the fact of them having bbl but having to show they work for their body). Im guessing this exercise is supposed to target the abdductors and adductors? idk

Growingannanas

I've never actually followed her, but Youtube keeps recommending her to me and I lowkey find her cringey. Especially since she got a bf that has become her whole personality - last year she was posting about not having ever had a relationship at 28 and now she seems to think her boyfriend is the most important thing about her content? I don't know why she annoys me so much.

ayria wishing she lived in the 1800s

“i wish i could live in the 1800s so i could go to diners and talk to boys and have no phone” are we so serious right now you wouldn’t even have rights😭😭😭😭she is so stupid there’s no way she recorded this and hit post

u/maithefinessegod — 1 day ago

She wants to hear the anger and disappointment...

... that's why she blocks people that leave negative comments. Community.

u/SnarkyYetChonky — 1 day ago

This isn't necessarily snark (kind of) lol Ayria Rutledge

I saw a bodybuilder a couple of weeks ago make a statement on tiktok calling out Ayria about her overexercising & undereating. Then someone here posted an estimate of her cals, which, at least according to the estimate, showed she was in a pretty big deficit. Today, I saw that she posted that she's been tracking her macros since May. Do y’all think she's capping in response to backlash? My opinion: it seems like “crisis management”; the same goes for her recently posting about eating a lot more carbs, etc. I could be wrong lol. I would like to hear other people’s opinions, I'm j curious

Charlotte Schaech claiming natty

Normally idgaf what people disclose or choose to not disclose, but given that she’s claiming to be natural and competing in natural shows, it’s annoying and just wrong. You can have great genetics, but you cannot convince me that you can turn pro after one season (at 24 mind you), 100% naturally. Even with 10+ years of lifting, it’s a stretch.

because we should all be trusting an influencer to assess our bloodwork

Who is actually doing this? I’m so curious who would trust her to assess their bloodwork 🫠

What is this

I still get emails from Popflex / Cassey Ho and this new bra design made me laugh out loud. I think I’d have trouble reaching it.

Is this horrible coaching or am I just being sensitive? 😭 (Win at Life group coaching, Kitty Blomfield)

This is the Win at Life group coaching Slack group. I had joined the program myself but now I cannot unsee so much of the coaching going on in here and in this instance my heart breaks for this woman who is in the program 😭 She has ADHD and I know ADHD well as I have it also. A quick background, when someone wants to be coached or lose fat they tell everyone to eat the exact same meals every day (not just hit their macros but repeat the same food and meals every day), identical food without swaps or flexibility at all.

This woman checked in and said she’d hit her macros and even added the proof from the app showing it. The coaches publicly accused her of lying about the food she eats??? They said to her that she needs to focus less on making the daily targets look perfect and more on logging accurately what she is actually eating. She said she was accurately logging, that she actually did hit her macros. They still called her a liar. How can they know for certain she is not eating what she is tracking? Is this not insane to accuse someone of?

That is the first red flag but then for someone with ADHD, forcing identical meals every single day is almost designed to set them up to fail. ADHD brains struggle with rigid routines sometimes and executive function

Then publicly calling her a liar on top of that is especially damaging. ADHD also can come with rejection sensitivity and a long history of being disbelieved or told they’re not trying hard enough. Accusing someone of lying when they say and show they hit the numbers seems harmful and toxic. I'm hurting for her, I cannot bring myself to "check in" as I have seen this style of coaching from them, especially since the group coach who was beautiful and empathetic and actually helpful got fired recently. This style of coaching can't possibly be helpful and isn't everyone an individual and has different needs? Also I can see this produce people-pleasing and fear of the coaches, or complete dropout, I can't see that helping anyone long-term? I am adding the screenshots in order. She handled it so well but it made me sad. Am I correct in this or is it just tough love/coaching?? 😭

Oner Active getting called out in their comments

In their recent drop promo videos it was very obvious that they are tripling down on the pilates princess aesthetic and the thin is in body trend. Many people were wondering where the lifting content went, including clothing built with materials conducive to lifting, rather than mini bras with no cleavage coverage, and work out sets with no stretch or support.

I've never bought from Oner, but have been following the discussions / observations of who they have brought on as the "face" of the brand in terms of fitness influencers and how they are always brought on around the time that they drop significant weight (and muscle mass) and how its notable that the content shared by influencers partnered with them is very much soft lifestyle content that just happens to tag oner rather than fully engaged gym/workout content. I've personally seen this with Tamara (previously strong pupusa) who now never posts lifting content anymore but a lot of her content is makeup, soft girly, "going to the gym" but not actually showing a heavy/hard workout. And also with Tahlia. Not that an influencers content can't change and evolve but it almost seems like its a prerequisite to shrink sizes and change your aesthetic and "goals" in order to be able to join Oner.

Hailey Fernandez is squatting 95 pounds…

Am I the only one not impressed with squatting 95 pounds at 5’7” (especially as a “fitness/gym” influencer)? That's what happens when you are in a constant calorie deficit, btw

Edit: After a quick Google search, it's actually less than 95 pounds because a Smith machine bar usually weighs between 15 and 25 pounds, unlike a free-weight bar. So (25•2) +25 = 75 pounds at most.

Also, not trying to shade ppl on here squatting this weight. I am a strong believer, however, that at 5’7” at 21 years old, after being a GYM influencer for 3+ years AND going to the gym/blogging is your job, you should be moving a lot more weight

Taliyah Joelle Oner Active Ad

These changes are apparently the result of wisdom tooth removal and working out. Her BA in kinesiology also helped.

She applied her teachings to her own body.

After 9 years, she finally got the body she's always wanted.

Really good reel about buffunicorn in my feed

I love this real from builtbycarina! She never uses the name buffunicorn but you can clearly see in the background that its about her. She is explaining why the people in the comments section who say "you cant have muscles and have an ED at the same time" are wrong

Hailey Fernandes being disordered per usual

I used to like her but her content is genuinely so annoying and extremely irresponsible now. Shes so insecure it’s quite pathetic (no wonder she’s friends with Ayria)

Just constantly crying about being bloated and always referring to herself as “fat” whenever it comes to food or eating, all while having an audience of young girls that look up to her and compare themselves to her.

Hailey, you can claim you’re recovered, happy and healthy all you want but everyone can see the truth. Get help and stop promoting ts to your fanbase.
